Ms. Charity E. Coridan is an independent massage therapist who works with Dr. Johnson at his clinic in Columbia, MO.  Charity provides many different types of massage depending on the patient's needs and / or preferences.

If you are an existing patient at Johnson Chiropractic & Holistic Health Center, Ms. Coridan will coordinate a massage therapy plan that complements the current chiropractic care that you are undergoing with Dr. Johnson.

If you are a new patient, or if you would like to receive massage therapy only to begin with, you may schedule an appointment to do so.

Massage Therapy Fee Schedule:

• 30 minute massage: $30.00
• 60 minute massage: $55.00
• 90 minute massage: $70.00

Chiropractic Care or Massage?

Some patients wonder which would be best for their problem, chiropractic adjustments or massage therapy?  The fact is, most people will see the most benefit by incorporating the two health care methods into their lifestyle.  This is because both work in different ways.  Massage primarily works with the muscles and the connective tissues, and can help with circulation of blood and lymph as well.  Chiropractic ensures that the body's joints are functioning properly, which allows the body's nervous system to work at 100%.  When the joints are functioning properly, it takes pressure of your muscles as well, and they usually relax after a chiropractic adjustment.  Conversely, a patient who receives massage after their chiropractic adjustment usually holds their adjustment longer and stays more mobile.  Please call for more information. 573-239-8745

What Conditions Can Massage Help?

Massage therapy can be helpful for many different conditions, especially if those conditions involve the presence of pain, muscle tightness, loss of circulation, or a reduction in mobility.  Although "relaxation massage" can be performed upon request, a majority of patients in Our Clinic receive Clinical Deep Tissue Massage Therapy.
